1. Terms Acceptance
By downloading, installing, running, or accessing the LoungeOS software, you represent that you have the authority to act on behalf of your business entity and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.
2. License Models & The 90-Day Free Trial
LoungeOS grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to run the software on local devices (tablets, computers, KDS screens) within your single physical establishment. The initial 90-day trial is fully unlocked with no credit card requirement. Continued use after the 90-day period requires active software validation keys obtained from LoungeOS representatives.
3. User Account Accountability
LoungeOS provides comprehensive anti-theft and employee permission features. You are solely responsible for allocating proper access levels (e.g. Server, Cashier, Manager, Admin) to your staff. LoungeOS developers bear no liability for cash discrepancies, ticket deletion, inventory theft, or billing errors arising from poorly configured roles or shared admin passwords.
4. Offline Operations & Local Data Backup
Since LoungeOS does not force automatic cloud backups to run, you are solely responsible for taking daily or weekly data backups of your local databases. LoungeOS developers are not responsible for database corruption, database losses, hardware drive failures, or software deletion on your devices.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall LoungeOS or its creators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, revenue, or customer goodwill) arising out of the use or inability to use the software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
