1. Who We Are

LoungeOS is made and operated by Sigalix. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use this website (loungeos.app), the LoungeOS web app at app.loungeos.app, the Windows, Mac and Android apps, and the account site at account.loungeos.app. The business data you enter in LoungeOS belongs to you.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the data we need to run your account, keep your business data in sync and support you:

• Account Data: When you create a LoungeOS account, we collect your name, your email address and the password you choose. If you choose Continue with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google instead.
• Business Data: What you enter in LoungeOS, such as your business name, logo, currency, taxes, payment methods and opening hours, your products, orders, sales, stock, suppliers, expenses and accounting entries, and the activity log.
• Staff Data: When you invite staff, we store their email address, name, role and permissions, and the actions they take in the activity log.
• Uploaded Files: Logos, images and documents you upload to LoungeOS.
• Billing Data: Your plan, invoices, receipts and the status of your payments.
• Device Data: The devices signed in to your account, so we can sync your data and apply the number of devices included in your plan.
• Website Interaction Data: When you browse loungeos.app, cookies and similar tools may record visits to improve page performance, remember your language and measure load speed. You can manage cookies in the consent banner.
• Support Inquiries: Messages, logs or screenshots you send us by email or through our support channels are used only to help you.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your business data is stored in the cloud, on servers we use to run LoungeOS. The Windows and Mac apps also keep a copy of your business's data on the computer, so the till can keep selling without internet, and changes sync to the cloud when the connection comes back. The web app and the Android app work with the copy in the cloud. We make a full backup of all data every day. Logos, images and documents you upload are stored securely in the cloud.

4. Sign-In and Payment Providers

Some parts of LoungeOS are handled by providers we work with:

• Sign-In: Email and password sign-in and Continue with Google go through our authentication provider. If you choose Google, Google shares your name and email address with us. We never receive your Google password.
• Payments: Mobile Money (MTN, Orange), card and PayPal payments made on account.loungeos.app are processed by our payment provider, which receives the payment details you enter. The amount is charged in FCFA. Invoices and receipts are sent to you by email.

5. Data Security

Each person who uses LoungeOS signs in with their own account or staff PIN and sees only what their role allows. Uploaded files are stored securely in the cloud, and a full backup of all data is made every day. You are responsible for choosing strong passwords, keeping staff PINs private, giving staff only the roles they need, and keeping your devices and local Wi-Fi network secure.

6. When a Plan Ends

When a free trial or subscription ends, LoungeOS becomes read-only on the web and on your tills until you renew. You can still see past orders and reports, print and export. We never delete your data because a plan has ended.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR & Data Regulations

You can see, correct and export your business records from LoungeOS at any time. You also have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. To make a request, email info@sigalix.com.
