1. Commitment to Accessibility

LoungeOS, made by Sigalix, is committed to making its website and apps usable by everyone, including people with visual, auditory, motor or cognitive impairments. We keep improving the LoungeOS web app, the Windows, Mac and Android apps and this website to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) Level AA.

2. Web & App Accessibility Standards

Our website and apps include several features designed for readability, easy control and assistive technology:

• Contrast Compliance: Text-to-background contrast ratios are checked against WCAG standards (minimum 4.5:1) so that text is easy to read for people with low vision.
• Screen Reader Ready: We use semantic HTML5 landmarks (such as <nav>, <main>, <header> and <footer>) and descriptive aria-label attributes on interactive buttons, so that screen readers (for example VoiceOver or NVDA) can describe the page structure.
• Scalable Text: Font sizes are responsive and scale with browser and system zoom without breaking the layout.
• Keyboard Navigation: All links, dialogs and buttons can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, with clearly visible focus rings.
• Touch, Mouse & Any Screen Size: LoungeOS works with touch and mouse on any screen size. On phones, a bottom navigation bar with a “More” sheet keeps every screen in reach.
• Two Languages: The app is available in English and French.

3. Assistive Technology Testing

We test our layouts at many screen sizes, in popular modern browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) and with built-in screen reader tools, so that people who rely on assistive technology can find their way around.
