1. Who Makes and Operates LoungeOS

LoungeOS is point of sale and business management software for businesses that sell, such as restaurants, bars, cafés, hotels, retail shops and supermarkets. LoungeOS is made and operated by Sigalix, a custom software company. The service includes the web app at app.loungeos.app, the Windows, Mac and Android apps, the account site at account.loungeos.app and this website, loungeos.app. All rights, title and interest in LoungeOS belong to Sigalix.

2. Your Right to Use LoungeOS

A LoungeOS subscription, or the 14-day free trial, gives your business the right to use LoungeOS under our Terms of Service. It does not transfer ownership of the software or any part of it. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties & Liability

LoungeOS is provided to businesses on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. In particular, we do not warrant that:

• The software will run without errors, interruptions or bugs.
• The cloud service, your internet connection or the local Wi-Fi network you set up will always be available.
• Taxes, stock levels or discounts calculated by LoungeOS automatically comply with the tax rules where you operate. You must check these figures against your local legal requirements.

4. Security of Your Accounts, Devices & Local Network

Your business data is stored in the cloud, on servers we use to run LoungeOS, and the Windows and Mac apps also keep a copy on the computer. You are responsible for the physical security of your devices, for keeping your account passwords and staff PINs private, for the staff you invite and the roles you give them, and for your Wi-Fi network, router and firewall when phones and tablets use a Windows or Mac app over your local network. Sigalix is not liable for data breaches, unauthorised voids or internal theft caused by shared passwords, compromised devices or an unsecured local Wi-Fi network.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All logos, interface components, graphics, designs, system architecture, database schemas and sync protocols of LoungeOS are the intellectual property of Sigalix. Unauthorised copying, reverse engineering, decompiling or redistribution of the software is prohibited and may lead to legal action under international copyright and software protection treaties.
